CHRISTMAS IN INDIA

As we step into the festive season, I decided to tell the     students in Cabo de Cruz about the Christmas in India 🇮🇳.     Since the two countries are world apart from each other,     there are many things we do differently in India, like the  food, cultural traditions and also the tree.

Contarary to the Western world, in some part of India (especially the south, due to warm climate), instead of pine trees, locally found trees like mango tree, banana tree etc. are decorated as Christmas trees.
While curries are popular main dishes there are some desserts like plum cake, kulkuls (crunchy curls), and rose cookies are widely eaten during Christmas.
Although, there are some differences there are many similarities in the Christmas celebration of India and Spain, like singing carols, getting together with your family and friends, and exchanginggifts.
India a diverse country, Christmas isn't just a religious festival but a time for everyone to be together and have good time!
